Diameter of bowl = 7 cm
∴ Radius of bowl = $$\frac{2}{7}$$ cm
Height = 4 cm
∴ Volume of cylindrical bowl :
$$\begin{array}{rl}& =\pi r^{2}h\\ & =\frac{22}{7}\times \frac{7}{2}\times \frac{7}{2}\times 4\\ & =154cu.cm\end{array}$$
Hence, volume of soup for 250 patients :
