Answer
B.
31 cm
C.
76 cm
D.

Answer: Option A

Solution

Answer: Option A
Solution:
Let the length of scale be 'x' metres
Let the cost price per metre of cloth be Rs. 100

Cost price of x metre length cloth = 100x
According to the question,

⇒ 100x + 24x = 93
⇒ 124x = 93
⇒ x =
⇒ x = 0.75 metre
∴ The actual length he uses instead of 1 metre is 75 cm.
