An application under Section 11 of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 can be filed:

Only in the High Court

In the court of appropriate pecuniary jurisdiction dependent upon the subject matter of the dispute i.e. either before the Civil Judge or the District Judge or High Court

In the court of appropriate pecuniary jurisdiction dependent upon the subject-matter of the dispute i.e. either before the Civil Judge or the District Judge or the High Court only if the Chief Justice has delegated his powers under Section 11 to the Civil Judges and the District Judges
