A.
Boron deficiency
Answer
B.
Nitrogen deficiency
C.
Excess of boron
D.
Sulphur deficiency

Answer: Option A

Solution

Answer: Option A
Solution:
Browning in Cauliflower is due to Boron deficiency.
Generally, the deficiency symptoms of boron are extremely visible in plants after the curd formation. The affected curds are bitter. The foliar colour first changes to dull green and then greenish yellow at the apical margin of the older leaves. When there is a severe deficiency of boron, then leaves are underdeveloped and smaller. The growing point may die in the young stage of the plant itself.
The deficiency of boron may be corrected by applying borax.
