Solution

Answer: Option D
Solution:
Curry leaf variety with red petiole variety is Senkaambu.
The curry tree, Murraya koenigii is a tropical to sub-tropical tree in the family Rutaceae and is native to Asia. The plant is also sometimes called sweet neem, though M. koenigii is in a different family to neem.
It is a Coimbatore local type and the leaves have better aroma and flavour due to higher oil content.
There are other two types of curry leaf viz., broad-leaved and small-leaved types. The small-leaved types are more fragrant and hence used for the extraction of essential oil.
