A.
Cotton
B.
Potato
C.
Soybean
Answer
D.
Maize

Answer: Option C

Solution

Answer: Option C
Solution:
"Knock out" is a commercial transgenic hybrid of Soybean.
In plants, such targeted DSBs can be used to knock out genes, modify gene expression by disrupting promoter sequences, or insert transgenes at a specific location via homologous recombination.
The first test of the CRISPR system in soybean was with a GFP (Green Fluorescent Protein)-expressing soybean line, as GFP knock-outs are easily observed by a loss of fluorescence.
The CRISPR/Cas9 system is shown to be effective in soybean by knocking-out a green fluorescent protein (GFP) transgene and modifying nine endogenous loci.
