Chalk brood
B.
Acarine
C.
Nosema
D.

Answer

Answer: Option D

Solution

Answer: Option D
Solution:
Shook swarm technique is done for European foul brood disease of honey bees.
The shook swarm is a simple and effective process that has the benefit of invigorating the bees that are shaken. Shook swarms are the National Bee Unit's favoured method of controlling outbreaks of European foul brood (EFB).
Shaking bees onto new foundations and then destroying the old combs can be beneficial when controlling European foulbrood. This procedure is known as Shook Swarming and it may also be beneficial in controlling Nosema spp., chalkbrood and Varroa mite populations.
