This hybrid is a cross between Madeleine Angevine and Rubired and was released in 1996. It is an early ripening (1^st week of June), basal bearer and teinturier variety containing red pigment both in peel and pulp. The bunch is loose, medium in size with round and medium-sized berries with TSS ranging from 18 - 20%. It is ideally suited for coloured juice and winemaking and is resistant to anthracnose disease.
