A.
Dhurrin
Answer
B.
Caffeine
C.
Aspirin
D.
Capsaicin

Answer: Option A

Solution

Answer: Option A
Solution:
Dhurrin is a cyanogenic glycoside produced in many plants. It is the active principle causing sorghum poisoning in many of its varieties in 1906 as the culprit of cattle poisoning by hydrogen cyanide. In hot and dry conditions, these plants become stressed, causing them to accumulate these toxins.
Dhurrin’s name is derived from the Arabic word for sorghum, transliterated to "Dhura".
