Adesh Medical College and Hospital, Kurukshetra

The College has a boys’ hostel on its campus. Students are provided with furniture, including a chair, table, bed, and full-size cupboard. Each hostel also has a visitor room, a study room with computer and internet facilities, and air conditioning.

The College has a girls’ hostel on its campus. Each hostel has a warden to oversee daily operations. There is a recreational facility room having TV, Music, and Indoor games for students to pass their leisure time. The hostel mess provides good quality, hygienic well-balanced food.

The College has Boys’ Hostel, Girls’ Hostel, Residents’ Hostel, and Nurses’ Hostel with appropriate first-aid and medical facilities. The Hospital is functional on the campus round the clock having ambulance services and facilities are available for the students, residents, nurses, teaching, and non-teaching faculty members at a subsidised rate.

The College has provided a playground and a Gymnasium for the staff and students. A qualified physical education instructor looks after the sports activities and maintenance.

The College has Library of Adesh Medical College and Hospital is air-conditioned and covers an area of 2632 square metres. It can accommodate at least 75 students and provides good lighting and ventilation. There are separate rooms for 150 students inside and outside the library. The library houses over 3200 text and reference books, as well as more than 15 Indian journals and over 14 foreign journals. 

The College and Hospital have sports playgrounds/ courts for students to engage in physical activity. AMCH Ambala has sports equipment for Badminton, Cricket, Volleyball, basketball,l and other games.

The College has an ICT-enabled campus. The hospital and medical college have established an intercom network to enhance services, coordination, and patient care across different sections and departments. In the Central Library, there is a Computer Lab with 40 terminals having an internet facility.

The College has teaching and non-teaching staff, students, and visitors. It offers beverages, snacks, and fast food throughout the day.

The College has 6 laboratories that are provided with continuous working tables. Every seat has been provided with a stainless steel washbasin. Every working table has a drawer with a steam-proof top and individual lighting.
