Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts and Science College for Women, Hyderabad

The College has a library facility, which is one of the oldest libraries in twin cities, which was established in 1968. It has a carpet area of 658 sq. ft. covering 95 cupboards with a seating capacity of 90 visitors. This library caters to the needs of about 1580 users, comprising students as well as staff. The Library is the backbone of the academic activities of the college and plays a vital role in Teaching, Learning & Research. At present, the library has in its stock about 37, 905 books and no titles 24,220, covering a variety of subjects. It also receives 29 current journals on different subjects to facilitate current reading. E-Resources with E-Journals & E-Books,s and other periodicals. 

The college has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The College features a secure and well-maintained student hostel located within the campus, with a total capacity of 167 residents. The accommodation is designed for comfort, featuring spacious, well-furnished rooms with excellent ventilation. A separate mess facility is available, complete with a large dining hall to cater to residents.

The College has Sports Facilities. The college offers regular sports coaching in the morning and evening for the students who want to compete in Osmania University Intercollegiate competitions in Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Basketball, Softball, Volleyball, Throwball, Tennikoit, Table Tennis, Carroms, Chess, Badminton, Yoga, Taekwondo, and Athletics. The college has good infrastructural facilities for both Indoor and Outdoor games. The department has a basketball court and well-equipped Gym facilities. The Department offers a FREE Three Months Certificate Course in Yoga, Taekwondo, and Karate to all the students as Best Practice.

The college has a Women cell of Andhra Mahila Sabha, Arts & Science College for Women acts as a catalyst for promoting the inclusive development of women/girls of this college through various interactive sessions, workshops, awareness classes, Training classes, Fieldwork, etc. The cell is aimed at streamlining the talents and abilities of women to make them better personalities which will enable them to carry greater responsibilities in their future lives.   Every year Women publishes a handwritten magazine which portrays the creative skills and talents of women of this college.
