Anna University, Regional Campus, Tirunelveli

The University Library is located in the Main Block and it is spread over 404 sq.m. The Library has a good collection of books covering various branches of Engineering, Humanities, and Science, and other books related to Competitive Examinations. The Library has Acquisition Section, Technical Section, Circulation Section, Reference Section, Periodical Section, and Digital Library Section. The Reading Hall of the Library can accommodate around 120 members at a time.

Anna University Regional Campus has department-specific laboratories with a wide range of equipment and technologies. A lab attendant is also available to guide the students during their practicals,

The institute has a well-established IT infrastructure that has a wide range of computers with modern hardware and softwares.

Anna University Regional Campus Tirunelveli has well-established sports facilities with indoor and outdoor courts. These facilities promote the physical fitness of the students and encourage them to take part in the sports events organised on campus.

Anna University Regional Campus Tirunelveli auditorium hosts various events such as seminars, workshops, and guest lectures. It also becomes the venue for various academic events to enhance students’ learning experience.

The institute has a medical and healthcare centre that provides basic healthcare and first aid facilities to the students and staff. It is equipped with essential medical supplies with trained medical professionals who ensure timely medical assistance to the students. 

The University has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The University Campus facilities include Pothgai Hostel for boys. The hostel is provided with all the necessary facilities which provide a peaceful environment to study. There are ample airy spaces where the students can socialize in comfort with their fellow inmates and other recreational facilities. The occupancy ratio is 6: 1 and 8: 1. The hostel rules need to be complied with by all without fail.

The girls hostel of Anna University Regional Campus is equipped with all the necessary facilities and amenities for the comfort and convenience of the students. It has spacious rooms with comfortable beds, almirah, and hot and cold water facilities. 

The University started offering the UG and PG courses in the year 2008, and students are graduated in various engineering disciplines from the year 2010. Alumni students are currently working in many MNC companies, government organizations, and industries in India and abroad.
