AWH Special College, Calicut

The college has a Hostel facility. Hostel facility is made available to the students. Women’s hostel is available on the campus itself.

The college has a library facility. A total of 4242 books are available for the users. The College has got a good spacious computerized library, with the required number of textbooks and journals. There are foreign titles by renowned authors too.

The college clinical laboratory is well equipped to conduct biological and hematological investigations. Cadavers are provided for anatomy dissection. Good facilities are offered for physiotherapy to enable the students for developing skills in basic exercises. Electrotherapy and Exercise therapy labs are fully equipped with Laser, SWD, Ultrasound, Treadmill, IFT, TENS, Tilt table, etc.

The college has a health center. physiotherapy: Ultrasound The department is running two separate Physiotherapy outpatient units one for adults and the other for Pediatric patients both under the supervision of well-qualified and experienced staff. An average of 80 patients enrolls every day with various complaints.

The college has a computer center. There are two computer labs with all terminals connected to LAN / WINDOWS. There are 45 systems in all. Internet facility is made available. Both labs are with A/C comforts.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
