Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Davangere

Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology boys' hostel now has three blocks accommodating about 510 boarders. The rooms are well furnished, and the hostel surroundings are very green and pleasant, which encourages students to study late at night.

The girls' hostel at BIET, Devangere, has facilities similar to those of the boys' hostel. It has one block. Warden and security guard facilities are also available on-campus. 

BIET Davangere health centre includes first aid facility for the students. Institute Health Centre, Bapuji Hospital. All the department Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology laboratories have first-aid kits.

The college has a Gym facility for the students. It can be accessed by the students during their idle time, and it promotes the physical fitness and well-being of the students.

Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology library has a collection of nearly 4485 back volumes of periodicals.  The library subscribes to 139 print journals and subscribes to e-journals through VTU-Consortium.

BIET Davangere sports facilities are available for all students. It has indoor and outdoor courts for popular games such as football, cricket, lawn tennis, badminton, and basketball.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. The computers are equipped with modern hardware and software to provide candidates with the best possible experience.

The college canteen is designed to cater to 1000 students and staff. A college canteen is a place where students congregate not only to eat but also to exchange views. The college canteen has a modern kitchen where food is steam-cooked. The washed dishes are sterilised for hygienic serving. On campus, Canteen College also has a Bakery shop.

The College auditorium has a seating capacity of 700, provided with two VIP balconies. A wide stage with remote-controlled screens and a made-to-order AHA-ELF 72D Digital Podium provides complete options and control to the presenter/performer. A high-tech projecting system is supplied by Christie, Canada.  

The college has a transport facility for students and staff. It has its own fleet of buses and cabs, making it easier for the students to commute without having to rely on public transport. 

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

The college has a department-based laboratory facility for the students. Electronics Lab, Microcontroller Lab, Machines Lab, Control system Lab, Measurement Lab, Power system simulation, and High voltage and relay lab and more.

The college has an on-campus banking facility provided by Bapuji Bank, our college bank, which is tied up with Axis Bank. Bapuji Bank is fully computerised. It caters to the needs of more than 5,000 students and staff. The ATM facility is a boon to the hostelers and faculty. The bank takes care of all the college transactions.

The college has Reprographic facilities provided on campus, located in the central library, in the office, and in the placement cell. The facility caters to the documentation needs of the students and staff and adds to their convenience.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members. It provides a comfortable and peaceful environment for them to stay when at campus.

The college has Training and Placement Cell is the backbone of any institute that is committed to developing dynamism, strong human values, and good leadership qualities as per the need of rapidly changing technology, working with strategy-oriented planning. The Placement Cell plays a crucial role in locating job opportunities for Undergraduates and post-graduates passing out from college by keeping in touch with reputed firms and industrial establishments. The Placement Cell operates throughout the year to facilitate contact between companies and graduates. The number of students placed through campus interviews is continuously rising. On invitation, many reputed industries visit the institute to conduct interviews.
