Bishop Abraham Memorial College, Thuruthicad

Bishop Abraham Memorial College has a library which is situated in the middle of the college campus. The college library has a rich collection of Books, International and National Journals, Newspapers and Magazines. BAM College library functions with LIBSOFT software system with barcode scanning facility. The documents in the college library are bar-coded for circulation purposes. The library has the Open access system and OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) to provide details of its resources.

BAM College sports ground is in the college campus located in the heart of Thuruthicad. This sports ground can be used by local sports clubs and schools for organising a variety of sporting activities.

The college has a vision to start the Digitally Empowered Education programme. Two highspeed Optical Fiber Cables connect the campus to the Internet. The offices and departments at Bishop Abraham Memorial College Thuruthicad are connected to the central server computer and the internet through OFC Local Area Network providing Gigabit connectivity.

BAM College Hostel for women is situated in the campus offering a peaceful and rural atmosphere. The college hostel provides safe and comfortable stay and offers healthy food with moderate fees. The hostel can accommodate 80 students in two blocks. Common facilities such as a prayer room, TV room, reading room and visitor’s room are available in the hostel. Bishop Abraham Memorial College facilities include a Co-Operative store that provides Books and writing materials at subsidised prices. The store also provides a photocopying facility and is well utilised by students and staff members.
