BLDEA'S Smt Bangaramma Sajjan Arts and Commerce College for Women, Vijayapur

The college has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. here is accommodation for 106 students in the College Hostel. It has a common room with an attached bathroom and arrangements for indoor and outdoor games. The mess facility is managed on a contract basis.

The college has a well-established and excellent Gymnasium with equipment worth Rs.3 Lakhs aided by the Central Ministry of Sports.

The college has a well established, well equipped and fully computerized library and kept open from 8-00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. The students should produce their Identity Cards for borrowing books. Three books are generally issued to the students on borrowers’ tickets. For meritorious students, there is a provision to provide extra books. Also, extra books are provided to SC/ST and Physically Challenged students. Newspapers, periodicals, and journals in various languages are readily available for students.

The college's Physical Director looks after the sports activities of the college with great zeal. The department has all the sports equipment for the various indoor and outdoor sports activities viz., Sports Cycles, Cricket Kits, etc. The College has a basketball/Volleyball Court with a Flood Light facility. The department conducts Cricket, Cycling, Basketball, Netball, Weight-Lifting, Power-Lifting, volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, and Athletics. And the number of students who have received National and International Level Prizes. With the highest number (68) University Blues of KSWU, VIjayapura.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college canteen accommodates approximately 50 seating arrangements for both staff members and students. It aims to provide a variety of quality food and beverages at subsidized rates.
