CDS Thiruvananthapuram library is well-stocked with a wide range of books, journals, research materials, newspapers and magazines. A librarian is available to lend the books to the students and maintain discipline in the library premises.

A well-established IT Infrastructure is also available at the institute. It is equipped with high-speed internet facilities. It has nine Juniper 3300 switches with 10 Gigabit uplink ports, 60 printers, and 6 scanners. Around 20 computers are available with Windows 8.1/10 software. 

The campus of CDS Thiruvananthapuram is fully equipped with high-speed wi-fi. All the buildings on the campus are equipped with Wi-Fi facilities, including the hostels and guest rooms.

CDS Thiruvananthapuram guest room has a total of 14 rooms and aims to provide a homely and comfortable atmosphere to the friends and peers of the students. It is equipped with facilities such as an electric kettle, tea/coffee making machines, a television, and hot water. 

The boys' hostel at CDS Thiruvananthapuram has a total of 3 floors and 24 rooms with balcony facilities. The rooms are spaced sufficiently with comfortable beds, study tables, wi-fi connectivity, a microwave and an automatic washing machine. CDS Thiruvananthapuram has a total of five hostels with a total of 90 rooms.

Girls' hostel of CDS Thiruvananthapuram also has similar facilities to those of the boys' hostel. It has a total of 2 floors and 18 rooms with all the basic amenities. A warden and security guards are also available for round-the-clock maintenance.

The cafeteria of CDS Thiruvananthapuram serves freshly prepared and hygienic food at an affordable price. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available.

The college has a Baker’s Auditorium named after Luarie Baker. It has an accommodation of 150 students and is used for seminars, conferences, and public lectures.

CDS Thiruvananthapuram gym is equipped with all the various equipment and tools. It aims to promote the physical well-being of the students.

The institute also has modern classrooms with whiteboards, blackboards, and smartboards. It also has a good seating capacity and ventilation.
