In an attempt to overcome the serious shortage of well-qualified and experienced teachers in certain engineering disciplines, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has set up this society. Under the aegis of this society, it is proposed to telecast, in the Ku band, lectures delivered by eminent teachers on certain subjects, for the benefit of students of all the member colleges.

The College has Physical fitness plays an important role in developing the overall personality of a student since a physically balanced student is mentally balanced too.CREC equally emphasizes the need to develop physical activities and encourages Sports and games making it an integral part of the curriculum. the various sports facility is provided to the students within the campus. Various sports competitions such as interdepartmental, Intercollegiate, Inter-University, etc help in developing team spirit among students. A fully distributed computing environment based on clusters of workstations and PCs provides the staff and students with ready access to computing resources, services software, and applications. The environment is tailored to the specific teaching/learning needs of each department. Full access is provided to email, the Internet, departmental Intranets, and other online sources of services and information through leased line Internet connectivity of 100 Mbps.
