  The fully spaced laboratories offer a chance to develop the skills of the student by refining their technical skills. Students are assisted in laboratories by the faculty members to experiment with the theoretical concepts that they have learned in the classroom.

  The infrastructure of  CASC plays a vital role in the development of the college, as the students have very good infrastructure with advanced laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, etc. The institution, situated at the heart of the city, spans 35 acres. There are 4 blocks with 100 classrooms, 6 laboratories, two libraries, two administrative offices, an air-conditioned Principal’s office, a guest room, three seminar halls, an auditorium, and Department staff rooms. It also comprises a separate wing for the Office of Examinations, Administrative and Training Block, Internship and Placement Centre, Counselling Room, Stationery Store, Transport Office, Maintenance Department, Common Rooms for girls and boys

• The College Library at Cheran’s Arts and Science College is well stocked and fully computerized. It has around 22,000 books covering almost all aspects of Science, Commerce & Humanities. It regularly subscribes to about 5 periodicals, including 5 daily newspapers in Tamil and English. Internet facility is also available for both students and faculty members of the institution. The services offered by the library are circulation, consultation, reference, and inter-library loan. 

• The college has a Sports Facility For the Students.
• Table Tennis: Table Tennis is one of the most popular indoor sports in college. Students can enjoy playing table tennis in the well-equipped indoor sports room. The college has a dedicated table tennis coach who trains students and helps them improve their skills.

  Badminton: Badminton is another indoor sport that is popular among students. The college has a well-maintained badminton court with all the necessary equipment. Regular training sessions are conducted to help students enhance their skills.

  Chess: Chess is a game of strategy and requires a great deal of focus and concentration. The college has a chess club where students can participate and hone their skills. Regular tournaments are organized to encourage students to participate and showcase their skills.

Residential student council members coordinate activities with the Deputy Warden and periodically sort out the issues raised in the hostel.
• Students are also afforded newspapers, magazines, and periodicals to enhance their learning environment.
