The College has a well-equipped state-of-the-art Central Library, named Tagore Library. This four-storied mammoth structure, housing over 63,000 books, subscriptions to 194 journals, and other reading materials; is a place of attraction not only for the students but also for the academia of the state. The library is fully air-conditioned and is well-equipped to facilitate students, faculty, and staff learning. The library provides a book bank facility to all the students, under which each student gets all the textbooks for the semester's studies. This reduces the financial burden on the parents. Apart from this, students can also borrow other books for their studies. The library remains open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

The College has a Training & Placement Office that provides the infra-structural facilities to conduct group discussions, tests, and interviews besides catering to other logistics. The Office interacts with many industries in the country, of which nearly 200 companies visit the campus to hold campus interviews. The industries that approach the institute come under the purview of: Core Engineering industries, IT & IT enabled services, Manufacturing Industries, Consultancy Firms, Finance Companies, Management Organizations, and R and  & D laboratories.

The college has a Central Workshop a centralized facility of the Institute and it is one among those that serve, support, and enhance the academic activities. The central workshop at CSIT is constantly engaged in providing feasible solutions to complex Engineering problems, which may include in-house design and development. It also supports researchers in making their experimental, setups and modifications if required in existing ones. The Central Workshop is spread over 588.30 sq. Mtr. area and comprises of Machine shop, Welding Shop, Fitting Shop, Foundry Shop, Carpentry Shop, and Black Smithy Shop. The central workshop follows the 5S standard practice for proper workplace management. Trained and experienced staff are the assets of this Central facility.
