The College Library satisfies the needs of learning and teaching styles through the delivery of access to a wide range of reading materials both in hard and digital form. Two essentials define an exceptional library: great resources and the correct atmosphere. The CIT Central Library offers our students both factors. The library offers students a wealth of knowledge resources to aid in their quest for knowledge. The library stocks national and international journals and magazines to keep students up-to-date on the latest findings and research. And the resources are constantly being expanded, with around 1000 books added each semester. Our library is not restricted to textual resources. We also offer NPTEL video lectures and web courses in various disciplines, which can be accessed throughout the campus via our intranet. As for the right environment for serious study, the library is completely spacious and designed to be a quiet, contemplative space. Open from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., the library’s working hours make it easy for students to fit library research time into their demanding academic schedules.

The College has An air-conditioned seminar hall with a minimum of 200 seating capacity available on the campus. They are well equipped with audio and visual systems. Events such as small meetings and intra-department level seminars/symposia, etc are organized here.

The College has a canteen which is a culinary treat for our students. Healthy food and drinks are available here. Students enjoy their walks to the canteen and are often found relaxing and enjoying a snack or a chilled drink.

The College hostels are convenient, comfortable homes away from home with spacious rooms and ample storage. There are separate hostels for boys. Each hostel is assigned a guardian who acts as a friend, and truth-seeker and monitors the hostel inmates. The guardian maintains strict discipline and cleanliness in the hostel.

The Training & Placement Cell, CIT plays a major role in shaping the career goals of our students besides collaborating with leading organizations and institutes in setting up of internship and training program of students. MOUs have been signed with established companies which conduct campus interviews and select graduate and post-graduate students from all disciplines. The T&P Cell functions effectively throughout the course of the year headed by well experienced Placement Officer along with a team of staff co-ordinators. A team of student representatives effectively assist the placement team..

cultural activities such as Choreography, Light Music, Painting, Sketching and also literary activities both in Tamil and English.The talents are identified and are trained to take part in various inter collegiate competitions. Students in large number involve themselves in the conduct of these events and improve their management skills.The students have been performing exceptionally well in various competitions and have brought glories to the institution ever since its commencement.
