City College of Education, Hisar

The College has library of this Institute is an indispensable support mechanism in fulfilling the objective of teaching and learning. Services provided by us organize their activities in consonance with the information needs. of the students and teachers by providing the logistic support for the teaching of B.Ed. and D.Ed. courses. This library has over 7500 books, and an online issue and return system has been adopted. Besides the course-related books.

The College is situated at Balsmand Road, Arya Nagar, Hisar, which is just 03 Km away from the internationally acclaimed Haryana Agricultural University Campus’s gate no. 3. One can get Public as well as private transport from the bus stand Hisar Malik Chowk, Rani Laxmi Bai Chowk every 5 minutes. Besides this, students can avail of the concessional bus pass facility provided by the Haryana Roadways Department. Transport facilities can also be provided by the college on demand.

The College of Education, Arya Nagar, Hisar has established a well-furnished Multipurpose hall as “NIRBHAR” (निर्भर-बहुउद्देशीय भवन) with a seating capacity of More than 300 students with a dais. It has a total area of more than 2000 sq. ft. and is decorated with an in-built sound system, two side corridors, and a green room. It is a centre of fun with knowledge for CITY COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, ARYA NAGAR, and HISAR students.

The College has sports facilities for all students.

The College of Science is one of those human activities that man has created to gratify certain human needs. The Search for Truth has been the dominant motive in the advancement of science. Science also owes a great deal to mathematics for all its advancements, as mathematical tools are largely applied to solve scientific problems. The establishment of SMRC at City College is expected to perform the following functions. Provide space and material to student teachers for hands-on experience with science and mathematics learning materials. Providing the teacher-educators and student teachers with materials and types of equipment for demonstration, experimentation, and other related activities. Providing opportunities to teacher educators to demonstrate process skills. Providing a place equipped with the necessary resources to stimulate thinking leads to the development of innovative teaching-learning material. Providing a place to store/exhibit the TLM prepared by student teachers and teacher educators.

The College has computer education parts of ICT that are integral components of our well-designed ICT resource center. In order to meet the recent developments in ICT, we have introduced a whole new software, broadband internet, display and projection technologies, online real-time information, and interactive learning capabilities.
