The college has a got a very spacious Library and Reading Room containing nearly 6000 books (Marine, Nonmarine and Management) and many reputed International and national journals and magazines. In addition to this library, our students can use the facilities of the University Central Library, and Libraries of the School of Engineering and Ship Technology. KMSME Library is also connected to the University Library by the network.

The college has an open-air theatre in – harmony with luscious greenery provides an ideal platform to horn the skills of our students. It has been a witness to the passing out ceremonies held, nostalgia to the alumni.

The college has With the increase in the automation and computerization of shipboard equipment, computer knowledge is inevitable for all budding mariners. The computer lab makes sure that the cadets are well-versed with computers. Apart from the basic fundamentals students are also given training in various programming languages and also in computer-aided design (CAD).

Cleanliness and hygiene are given great importance which is well reflected in the appearance of the hostel rooms, mess, and toilets.
