The University has set up a University Computer Centre. It was established in the year 1986 with the assistance of the University Grants Commission. University Computer Centre (UCC) is taken as a centralized resource facilitator for computerization to cater to the needs of the entire University. The principal objective of UCC is to provide readily available facilities for the computer milieu to students, research scholars, teachers, and employees of the University. Its associated objective is also to automate the administrative and secretarial wings of the University. It is one of the best in the region in terms of infusing computing resources, campus-wide networking, and internet facilities.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

The University has Hostels that have all modern amenities for comfortable living for 4000 students. The strength of these four hostels is 550 for boys. All the Hostels have a Wi-Fi facility and CCTV Camera.

The University Has Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha Library University Library is a hub of academic and research activities. It is housed in a spacious air-conditioned building and kept open for 360 days of the year from 8:15 am to 8:15 pm. It has a total of 480759 books, and 52995 bound periodicals, and subscribes to 356 current journals and 22 newspapers. 60 journals are being received on gratis. In addition to this CDs and Microfilms are also available. It has a majestic Reading Hall with a seating capacity of 400 readers. A separate air-conditioned Night Reading Hall for using personal books has been provided on the ground floor. It remains open for 365 days from 8:15 am to 6:00 am (next day). 

The University has Department of Sports, Punjabi University, Patiala came into existence on 28th February 1963 as a tiny unit. The accelerated pace of sports achievements of the University over the recent decades has been instrumental in enabling the department to grow from strength to strength and occupy a place of prominence in the developmental roadmap of the University.

The University has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The University has Health Centre has 2 doctors, 4 pharmacists, w staff nurses, 1 male nurse, 3 Lab Technicians, 1 radiographer, 1 ECG Technician, and other supporting staff.

The University has Through the establishment of the Punjabi University Alumni Association, Punjabi University is heading towards the fulfillment of its sacred duty to provide a platform that is very essential and aims at multi-dimensional objectives. Punjabi University always feels proud of its entire alumni who, after gaining education and knowledge from here, have achieved glorious heights in different fields.

The University has a Transport Department of the University runs a fleet of buses for linking the campus to various parts of Patiala city.
