College of Pharmacy, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam University, Indore

The college has a library that boasts more than 44,321 books and journals at the national and international levels. Along with technical updates via the latest journals, students can also keep themselves abreast with the latest happenings in the world via newspapers, magazines, and Internet facilities. The library is divided into two sections:

1. Reference Section: This section stocks recent editions of textbooks. Students can borrow one book at a time against their Library Identity Card. The books/journals in this section are meant for reading in the hall only. The question papers of previous examinations conducted by the University are also available in this section.

2. Lending Section: Students can borrow two textbooks for verification from this section. Generally, the students can get books for one week. A fine will be charged if a book is not returned within a given time.

3. Book Bank Section: The Library is having a Book Bank facility for specific courses. Through this facility, students can get a book by paying a book bank amount (one-time payment) and can keep the book till the end of the particular course. At the end of the particular semester, the book has to be returned by a notified date. In case of loss or any damage to the book, the student will have to replace a new book or pay the cost of the book.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college runs 30 buses covering all the important points in Indore, Dewas, Mhow, and Pithampur towns with a total seating capacity of 1000 students.

Transportation is available for conducting industrial tours and visits etc.

The college has a spacious canteen with the latest equipment and a hygienic environment which provides quality food and prompt service and caters to the needs of all the students and the staff.

A central cafeteria of 1500 Sq.m. is available on campus. Mini cafes and fast-food centers are available in various blocks.

The college has a Punjab National Bank that provides ATMs and banking at the respective campuses for the need of the students and faculty.

The college has a First Aid with all accessories kept in the laboratories where moving machinery is installed and also at strategic locations.

Emergency medical care and first-aid are available on campus with one Medical Practitioner and one Nursing Assistant. General medicines are made available in the center. First-aid boxes with all accessories are kept in all laboratories and other strategic locations.

An Ambulance with all facilities (on call) is available in the University round the clock for emergency services.

The College Campus is having 5 MBPS of high-speed internet facility. The institute has a 24X7 Wi-Fi facility in the college campus for the student and faculty members to avail of an internet connection at any place in the college.

The connectivity through a fully networked campus with state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, computing, and communication resources, offers students the facilities of e-mail, net surfing, and up/down loading of web-based applications, besides helping them in preparing projects and seminars

The College provides facilities for a wide range of sports and games. The University provides facilities for indoor games like shuttle badminton, table tennis, chess, and carrots, besides Weightlifting and Markham. The renovated University stadium provides facilities for cricket, football, and athletics. There are also courts for ball badminton, basketball, volleyball, tennis, etc.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facility for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
