The college has wireless access to the Internet and Intranet 24X7 at everywhere in college. Wi-Fi access has been provided with the help of state-of-the-art equipment (such as from CISCO, Motorola, etc.) and data flow protection and packet filtration have been done through world-recognized leading firewalls such as from Microsoft, CISCO, etc.

The college has Computer Labs have been provided with high-end IBM & HCL Core 2 Duo desktops which are amply supported by additional peripherals and hardware. A compact network has been established with the latest Cisco Routers and Switches. The campus is Wi-fi enabled. A dedicated leased line of 25 Mbps is available on a 24*7 basis enabling the students to access the internet at their convenience.

The college  Labs Applied Sciences department keeps pace with the rapid advancement in technology by providing well-equipped labs and teaching to the students. All the applied sciences labs have state-of-the-art infrastructure. The study of theory subjects and hands-on experimental set-ups help the students in strengthening their core engineering knowledge. 

The college provides answers to technical questions directly or through a quick referral. Mission Statement : The Learning Resource Centre exist to support and enhance teaching and learning within and outside the classroom as an integral part in the education process at CGI.

The institute has independent fully furnished hostels for boys. Situated within the campus, the hostels can accommodate about 400 students. Basic amenities like a water-cooler, hot water supply in winter, common room for recreation, TV room form an integral part of the hostels. Wi-fi internet connectivity round the clock is available to the students of the hostels. The hostel mess provides healthy and hygienic food to the students. The hostellers also have the advantage of using the college library and the computer labs till late hours in the evening.

In addition to the above, a lady doctor visits the campus weekly to counsel the students regarding their health problems.

The college has  Basketball, Volleyball, and Tennis Grounds: Cricket, Football, Athletic Track Tournaments: CCHS hosted three major Inter College tournaments from Punjabi University Patiala during 2014-15: Football (Men), Cricket (Men), Basketball (Women).
