Students who choose to live in the hostels can find housing provided by the CIST, Bhopal. With regard to internal management, each hostel at the institute functions independently under the general direction of the Wardens. An office manager and an attendant who helps the warden with issues pertaining to the hostel's numerous activities are attached to each warden's office. All of the paperwork related to the staff, mess, and hostel occupants is kept up to date by the office. 

The CIST, Bhopal offers hostel accommodations that are well-furnished and available to students. There are five (05) hostels in the city, two (02) of which are specifically for girls. There are 460 students living in the dorm. girls In addition to indoor and outdoor sports facilities, hostels have a gymnasium. Outdoor activities including basketball, badminton, cricket, and volleyball as well as indoor games like chess, carom, and T.T. are available at the hostels. There is a shared TV room for the hosts.
