Dau Uttam Sao Government College, Machandur

The college has a well-equipped library. Various newspapers, magazines, and research journals are available in the library. A fully equipped reading room is available for the students to study and teach. A book bank scheme is implemented to provide free books to the students of the SC/ST category, under which one set of books is provided free of cost to the students of the SC/ST category till the end of the session, which is taken back after the examination. Books are provided to the general students as per the rules prescribed for running the library.

The college has a large playground equipped with all the facilities. Due to the availability of suitable playgrounds on the college campus, sports students get ample opportunity to practice regularly. Due to this talented players can fulfill their cherished dreams by displaying their skills and abilities better. Physical education and various sports are organized in the college under extra-curricular activities, under which students participate in the following sports competitions at college, inter-college, regional university, state level, and national level competitions.

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is an Indian government-sponsored public service program conducted by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India. Popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in Gandhiji's Centenary year, 1969. Aimed at developing student's personalities through community service, NSS is a voluntary association of young people in Colleges, Universities, and at +2 level working for a campus-community linkage. The first duty of the students should be, not to treat their period of study as one of the opportunities for indulgence in intellectual luxury, but to prepare themselves for final dedication in the service of those who provided the sinews of the nation with the national goods & services so essential to society 

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
