Library
The college has a library is the heart of the college. It is the storehouse of knowledge. The library has great importance for all the students and teachers, who are the so-called two pillars of our educational system. Hence, Dayavihar Degree College provides a good library for the students and teachers for the smooth running of the teaching-learning process. The library contains 8,000 books and 2000 magazines and periodicals. All the students and staff of this college are entitled to use the library.
Laboratories
A laboratory is a workplace where scientific research, experiments, or measurements are done. The study of science without a laboratory means nothing. Hence, our college provides well-equipped laboratories for different departments. The college has seven laboratories for practical subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Education, and Geography. The students get their chance to conduct practicals in laboratories.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
Cafeteria
The college has a good canteen for the students and staff. It provides light refreshments like tea, coffee, cold drinks, ice cream, etc., and breakfast to the students and staff as per their requirements. The canteen opens on all working days from 9.00 am. to 5.00 pm.
Medical/Hospital
The college provides health care services to students and staff. The service is provided by the YRC Unit headed by the Counsellors. They also organize regular health check-up programs where the staff and students get their chance to measure their blood pressure, pulse, Oxygen level, weight, and temperature. The Unit also provides First-Aid to all the students and Staff.
Convenience Store
The college has a convenience store facility for students. (like Post office facility and bookshops, etc.).

Sports
The college has a big playground on campus. It provides facilities for the students to involve themselves in outdoor games like cricket, football, volleyball, kho-kho, etc. The PET Sj. Prasant Kumar Pradhan encourages the students to take part in different sports and games. The college organizes inter-college cricket matches and Annual Sports on the ground.
Alumni Associations
The College has Alumni the college plays a vital role in the progress of the college. The Alumni association is formed comprising both old and ex-students. Mr.IndramaniChhotray is the president of the college and Mr. Ajay Kumar Sahoo is the secretary. The association has applied before the proper authority for its registration under the society's registration act. The members of the association seat with the principal time and again to discuss the various issues and development of the college.
