The college has Transport for daily commuting is generally worries of parents. To enable students to free themselves from the worries of transportation, a full-fledged Transport department functions at DIP & DITC with its own fleet of buses that operates for the convenience of students and staff coming from in and around Cuttack, Dhenkanal, and Athgarh. This transport facility is also used for various educational purposes like field trips, industrial visits, and recruitment. The College runs a sufficient Number of buses to provide transport facilities to students from various places in the city and rural areas of Cuttack & Dhenkanal. The buses are comfortable and safe and charges are subsidized by the College.

The college has Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
