The college boys' Hostel with a capacity of 300 students, situated at the adjoining property to the college, is provided with all modern facilities, including solar water heating systems for the convenience of hostellers. The hostel has a modern kitchen & dining hall, and also a recreation area for viewing TV and reading newspapers/magazines. The students can make use of the excellent sporting facilities provided on the campus and can relax in the beautifully landscaped garden on the college campus since the hostel is situated right next door.

The College girls' hostel can accommodate about 300 students with excellent mess facilities and activities like STD Booth, Fancy & Toiletries stores catering to the needs of hostellers. The Hostel is equipped with solar water heating systems to provide hot water to the students throughout the year. Sporting facilities like Shuttle, Badminton, Tennis Courts, and indoor games like Caroms, Dart Boards, Chequers, and Table Tennis are provided for the physical well-being and mental relaxation of the students. A separate hall for TV viewing on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public holidays is provided for the recreation of hostellers.

The college Dispensary has a full-fledged unit with provision for one full-time Medical Officer, and two part-time doctors (based on a prior commitment for availing their local hospitals & services on emergency) who are assisted by supporting staff.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The College Central Library serves as a place where students can delve deeper into their subjects and widen the horizons of their knowledge. Central Library and six departmental libraries, which collectively support the teaching, research, and extension programmes of the Institute. In order to help its students keep abreast with the changes happening in the world of technology, the library also subscribes to online journals, periodicals, and regional and national newspapers. The activity of providing library facilities to the students and staff started along with the start of academic programmes.

The college has a sports facility. Students are trained well in sports and games. There is a separate sports wing to train students in different sporting aspects. The college has been upgrading its internet infrastructure consistently towards high-tech and e-learning methodologies in the learning process, giving top priority. Currently, the college is equipped with a 110 Mbps leased-line 1:1. The Institute is also planning to double the bandwidth capacity of about 140 Mbps in due course of time to provide faster service.

The college has a canteen facility with a capacity of 100 boys and 100 girls. A range of Continental and Indian delicacies is served in the cafeteria. Cool water with Aqua Guards, for drinking, is available.

The college has a modern, well-equipped acoustic auditorium for workshops and seminars. The seating capacity of the hall is about 600. The College is provided with an air-conditioned Auditorium with a fully soundproof setup and equipped with the latest technology for all types of audio/video presentations.

The College Bus facility is being provided by the college at concessional rates from Vijayawada and various places like Mangala Giri, Gollapudi, Payakapuram, Pammoru, and Gudivada.

The college's entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled with a high-speed internet connection to allow the students to access the internet no matter wherever they are. The coverage of Wi-Fi is not only restricted to classrooms but also extends to all the areas including the library, Seminar Halls, Class Rooms, Corridors, and hostels. The campus was provided with to Wi-Fi environment through Siemens with 54 Mbps IEEE 802.1g network standards. In order to avail local servers with e-library, all server-based labs such as Oracle, IBM Rational Rose, Aptitude and career lab, English language lab, MAT Lab are connected along with Internet facility. Sitting at any place on the campus students can access all the above lab contents. Upgrading the internet infrastructure consistently towards Hi-tech and e-Learning methodologies in the learning process is given top priority. DIET is one of the few Colleges, which can boast of its state-of-the-art computing resources and network across the campus. It has an IT infrastructure that can support 900+ computer terminals, probably one of the largest wi-fi infrastructure.
