The college has a dispensary to look after the sick students and a qualified doctor to prescribe medicines and give first aid if needed. The college also maintains its own ambulance to take the sick to the hospital if the need arises.

The college maintains a highly sophisticated gymnasium well equipped with all modern facilities for exercises and weightlifting.

The college has a well-equipped, sophisticated Central library with a large stock of books of various disciplines. The college also maintains separate departmental libraries in each department. The DGC Central Library is a state-of-the-art RFID-equipped automated library. The automation of the library has completed its first phase with all library books furnished with RFID tags. It is in step with the vision of an automated library where patrons can borrow and return books and other media entirely on their own.

The college has sports facilities for all students. The college also promotes various sports teams for cricket, volleyball, weight lifting, track events, long jump, shot put, javelin throw, and so on. The students are motivated to participate in Inter College and Inter-University tournaments.

Luxury fleets of buses are provided for a comfortable journey by the students of all three campuses of DGC. Students from Zirakpur, Panchkula, Chandigarh, Mohali, Ropar, and Kurali, can avail of bus facilities for their conveyance to campus 1. At Kharar. A student from Una, Nangal, Ropar, Banga, Nawanshahr, and their satellite towns can make use of our buses for conveyance to campus 2 (Raipur) and campus 3 (Rahon).
