Don Bosco College, Angadikadavu

The College has Boy's Hostel managed by Don Bosco Fathers, has well-furnished rooms with a conducive environment for rigorous academic pursuit. A home away from home, the hostel has a regular timetable tailored to the requirements of the growing generation.

The college has a separate hostel for girls, managed by FSM Sisters. Maria Niketan, located opposite the college campus, has all the required facilities and conducive ambiance for rigorous academic pursuits.

The College has an open auditorium with a seating capacity of 1000. It is used during major programs like merit day, arts day, college day, various inter-collegiate fests, etc. During these events, the college invites parents and other well-wishers of the college. The elegant and spacious auditorium ensures that our guests are comfortable.

The College Library has a collection of over 6500 volumes. It follows the open library system, wherein the students can access the stack and select the books they need.  The library has a book bank from which students can borrow textbooks and use them throughout the semester. It also has a reference section with sufficient copies of the commonly required study materials.

The College has ample facilities for sports and games. The basketball court, volleyball court, and football court are as per the standard size and well maintained. There is also a provision for a shuttle game.

The College computer lab is equipped with 70 desktop systems of recent configuration. The lab is open till 9 pm, for the students to practice what they learn. High-speed internet is available on all systems so that the students can access learning materials whenever they want. Another unique feature of the college Computer Lab is the availability of tablets. There are 35 tablets for the exclusive use of the students. Students who need tablets for their projects can hire them and use them for the entire semester.

The college has a cafeteria for healthy and hygienic food. The food in the cafeteria is offered at a reduced rate. There are also other food outlets just outside the campus, both for light food as well as for a full meal.

The College Alumni have been always an asset to it. They keep in touch with their alma mater. Frequent meetings are organized by them, through the web media. They are also involved in placement activities, soft skill training programs, etc.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The College has a mini gymnasium in the college. Students who want to work out after a day of hectic academic activities can make use of this facility. Separate timings are provided for both boys and girls. 

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The campus is WiFi-enabled, 24×7. All students are given free access to the campus WiFi, which has a bandwidth of 50Mbps. The MCA program requires searching the Internet for various tutorials and details. The availability of free WiFi helps the students to delve deep into the knowledge available on the World Wide Web.

The College has Federal Bank set up an ATM on the campus. It is a help for the students to carry out digital transactions, whenever they need it. Kerala Gramin Bank is situated at a distance of 1 km from the college. This facilitates bank transactions for the students.

The college is blessed with ample parking space. The parking space is interlocked with tiles and marked well to facilitate easy vehicle parking. Separate areas are earmarked to park two-wheelers and four-wheelers. There is an entry gate and another exit gate for the parking space. The parking space is under CCTV surveillance.

The College has a mini shopping complex, just outside the college gate for the various shopping requirements of the students. Stationery items, Xeroxing facility, binding records, tailoring, etc. are available in the shopping complex.

The College has Primary Health Centre is just 1 km away from the college. There is also the Govt. Ayurveda hospital located close to the college. Students can make use of both facilities when needed. In addition, the college ensures all the students for a claim of Rs. 25,000/- per year.

The college has a transport facility for students and staff.

The college is a club funded by the Kerala Startup Mission, Govt. of Kerala. The fund is utilized for arranging training programs for the students on recent technologies as well as to help them earn while they learn. Students are also financially supported to attend training programs and conventions organized in different parts of the state.

The college has a Training and placement cell facility for students.
