Dr SS Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Chandigarh

The institute has a health centre where regular medical checkups are done. First-aid supplies are available, and a doctor is available at specific hours.

The institute's students and professors have exclusive access to the well-stocked library, which has over 10,453 books and subscribes to more than 19 Indian and foreign publications.

Volleyball, cricket, football, basketball, table tennis, and chess are among the indoor and outdoor sports offered by the UICET Chandigarh. 

The college has  good IT Infrastructure with one of the best computer labs in the country. It has 80 computers (Pentiums). The laboratory is linked by modem to the main Computer Centre of the University.

The UICET Chandigarh offers a canteen for students and staff. The canteen is kept clean and offers a variety of food to the faculty and students.

There is an open-air theatre available for instructors and students. This open-air theatre hosts a variety of events.

The college has a good networking for alumni association.

The Institute provides excellent research facilities in a number of cutting-edge fields, including chemical engineering thermodynamics, environmental engineering, carbon chemistry, polymer science and engineering, membrane technology, solvent extraction, electrochemistry, and many more. While some sponsored research projects are still in progress, others have already been successfully completed.
