The college has a well-equipped library containing the latest textbooks and journals, both Indian and International. The central library of the campus has additional facilities such as printers, photocopying machines, and computers with internet facilities. The Girija Institute of Polytechnic Ramgarh library has a reading room which provides a relaxed ambiance for students to spend long hours reading/taking notes and making references from the large collections.

Girija Institute of Polytechnic Ramgarh laboratory facilities are provided to the students. These laboratories are provided on a departmental basis. These laboratories are equipped with the required equipment.  

The college has outstation students who are given preference. A student seeking a seat in the hostel has to complete certain formalities. Each hostel is placed under the direct control of the warden. The hostel is well secured with 24-hour guard at the gate. Since the hostel is a home away from home for the students, all efforts have been made to make their stay comfortable. Maximum attention will be provided to serve nutritious food cooked in hygienic conditions. Hostellers will have to follow a strict time schedule. No student will be permitted to leave the hostel without the prior permission of the competent authority, except under extreme emergency.

Girija Institute of Polytechnic Ramgarh sports facilities are provided to the students. The students are encouraged to take part in outdoor and indoor sports activities on the campus. The required facility both for indoor and outdoor games has been made available for the students.

The college provides transport facility to the residential students during the weekend at additional nominal charges and there is free pick up and drop facilities available from hostels both for Boys’ and Girls’ students on working days.

The college has excellent healthcare facilities provided for all students of the institute. Each hostel has a medical dispensary where round-the-clock medical assistance is available on a regular basis. In case of emergency, hospitalisation is done in nearby hospitals.

A well-furnished hygienic cafeteria is available in the campus, providing fresh and delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian food to students at a reasonable price.

The high-speed internet connection is provided in the institute. The entire institute including library and hostels are enabled with wifi facility. The wifi facility is available round the clock.

The Training and Placement Cell of the college arranges campus interviews and coordinates the recruitment process of students. The placement cell also provides placement related assistance to its students.
