The college previously had a well-equipped multi-gym having advanced instruments for students. A new building is under construction where the total number of units will be shifted, and the advancement of the gym is planned.

The college library is said to be the central point to coordinate teaching and learning for gathering knowledge that helps achieve the objectives of a college. The college library is the intellectual hub of the institution, serving equally both the students and teachers. Our College Library is a Knowledge Repository Centre that has rich resources in almost all disciplines, i.e. in Science, Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities. The library of our college was formally launched in 1947, immediately after Independence. During this long period, it becomes one of the most important information/knowledge resource centers for the college as well as the local community concerned. The library functions on an open-access system for the faculty members. But the students have only closed access.

The college students are very enthusiastic about sports. The college provides an excellent environment of sports to the students of this institution. The college has a big playground covering more or less ten Bighas of land. The playgrounds are regularly used by the students for enhancing their ability to perform in different outdoor games like Football, Cricket, kho kho, Volleyball, Badminton, etc. Every year, the college holds an annual sports competition. Students have been participating regularly in sports activities in the football and cricket competitions at the university and the state level under the supervision of the Student Union. For proper training and grooming of players, the college will start providing cricket coaching in 2013.

The College has an effective computer center on the college premises for all categories of students.

The college canteen is under renovation. It supplies food to students at subsidized rates. For teaching and other college staff, there are separate counters for food as well.

The college has a well-conditioned auditorium that is there for holding seminars and cultural functions.

The college Alumni association is a body of ex-students spread throughout West Bengal, India, and different parts of the world. The alumni comprise a group of people who are either serving or have served in distinguished professions as Vice-Chancellors of universities, Professors, Teachers, Scholars, and many other such esteemed professions. The members of the association have constantly swelled over time, which raises funds from varied sources to help the needy or meritorious students of the college. Since its inception, it has continuously tried to attach itself to the development activities of the college.

The college facility allows students to access uninterrupted high-speed Internet connectivity (through Jio WiFi service) anywhere within the campus. It is very helpful to work from any block/building and receive the same speed of data transfer.

The college has Science subjects have set up modern laboratories. High-level experiments using an X-ray diffractometer, LCR Meter, etc., are being done in the Physics laboratory.

The college has a cheap store that offers its items at a lower price than many other retail stores. The college has a cheap store just beside the college canteen.

The college has a Smart Classroom, a state-of-the-art facility where students receive elaborate training for improving their learning. Smart classes use all interactive modules like videos and presentations and these visually attractive methods of teaching become appealing to students who are already struggling with the traditional method of teaching in a classroom. A model smart classroom is under construction. A number of departments have already introduced smart classroom teaching.

The college has a First Aid facility available on the campus. Students are eligible to receive medical facilities under the Students’ Health Home. Sometimes college organizes medical camps with the help of B.M.O.H. The doctors performed medical check-ups on the students.

The college also provides extracurricular activities to encourage students.
