Gokul Das Hindu Girls College, Moradabad

The College has provided hostel facilities for girls since its inception and can accommodate around 100 students. But in the last three years, with most of the admissions secured by local students, the need to run a separate hostel was not feasible and therefore it was decided to shut it down. Moreover, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have another reason now to keep the hostel shut.

The College First Aid Box is available in the Sports Department and Student Union Room. A doctor on call is available in case of a serious problem. Dr. Rekha Agarwal, Dr. K.M. Agarwal.

The college library has over 41,159 in the main library section for the use of students and staff. The college subscribes to various periodical magazines as well which we keep on updating and upgrading as the need arises. There is a Library Advisory Committee which is responsible for the majority of the decisions related to library management. The Library Advisory Committee receives inputs from the various departments regarding the new books, journals, magazines, or periodicals that need to be purchased, keeping in view the requirements of students and staff.

The College is participating in major indoor and outdoor games i.e. Athletes, Handball, Volleyball, Football, Badminton, Kabaddi, Yoga, Judo Taekwondo, etc.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.

The College canteen facility is made available for students and staff.  College pays special attention to the quality of food items and cleanliness of the canteen.  

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college also has a smart classroom or smart lecture theatre.

The college also provides extracurricular activities to encourage students.

The college has an active NSS unit. The information about NSS provision is published in the college prospectus and website. NSS units organize a variety of programs for the benefit of society at large. NSS Camps are organized with financial assistance given by the University.

The college also provides workshop facility for the students.

The college has different types of clubs like the Science Club which students can join.
