Gokul Pravati Rural College, Kuntara

The college has Women’s hostel with 150 boarders as its intake capacity. The hostel gate is open from 6 A.M to 6 P.M. The gate is locked up at night except in urgent medical cases. The night watcher is held responsible for any sort of deviation regarding the closing and opening of the gate.

The college has a common library. It has an extensive collection of reference books for graduate students. The library has automated all its library activities to provide an effective and wide range of academic resources such as books, journals, and online databases. There is a reading room facility available for students near the library.

The college has well finished laboratory. Each lab has the Accommodation of 32 students in +2 level Physics, Chemistry, and Biology lab well equipped.

The college promotes student participation in various outdoor and indoor games. Students are encouraged to participate in games and sports activities, which include cricket, football, Hockey, etc. There are plans to expand the number of games and activities to include basketball and Table tennis. Participation of students in these activities equips them to sharpen their competitive skills and develop team spirit. Physical Education Teacher (PET) helps the students develop their interest in the games and enhances their participation standards. A cricket cum sports field is also available on the campus.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. The college conducts a blood donation camp on Dt/24/09/2022 in collaboration with NSS. Around 50 people donated blood. 

 The college has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.

The college has Extracurricular facilities and an NSS unit available for all students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.
