Gopalpur College, Balasore

The College has Central Library of Gopalpur College has been as old as the year of establishment of the college in 1978. The Library has its own reading room facility and digital library section. It contains 13132 Both Journals, Text, and Reference Books. It has a section for rare books, new arrival sections, staff publication sections, question books, and a separate section named remedial library. The Student can issue at best three books for their home reading for a fortnight. The circulation of books has been given priority for the benefit of multi-user. The Library can issue one book a day to students for library reading. The Students can borrow books according to the following schedule. 

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has a gym facility for all the students.

The college has constructed Subhadra Ladies Hostel under UGC Assistance and has been functioning on the campus since 2011. The Hostel has 50 seats for the border. One room each for Superintendent, warden, and watchman. A student who desires to take boarding needs to apply to the principal in a specific format. The Selection for boarding in the hostel is purely on the merit of the mark.

The College has its own cycle stand. Cycles are to be kept on a cycle stand and the students should bear in mind that the risk is entirely theirs. Bicycles should not be parked here and there behind, beside, or in front of the classrooms causing a breach of peace and order. In case of any trouble, students can take the assistance of the attendant who is in charge of the cycle stand.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

The college possesses two smart classrooms, The Smart Class Rooms with LCD Projectors are used by multiple departments.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has a convenience store facility for students. (like, photocopying facility & stationery, etc.)

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has Athletic Club as a statutory body to support sports and physical education facilities. It provides regular practice of Games (Indore & Outdoor), Athletic Activities, Yoga, and Physical Exercise. One Gymnasium Center Functions on the campus under its supervision. The Principal of the College is the Ex-officio chairperson of the Club and One Senior faculty member has been nominated as its vice-chairman. A Body of Athletic Committee consists of the Faculties having experience in Sports and Games including the Physical Education Teacher (PET) plan an annual schedule of games and sports. The Body also organizes, annual sports fair, and awards the winner in sports functions. It also sponsors Successful candidates to represent in inter-college and university games. One Rugby ball team for Girls students has been continuing to function in the college. In the year 2007, the team owned the national rugby cup played at Nehru Stadium, Indore organized by Rugby Football Federation. The Student representatives are elected as Secretary and Joint Secretary of the Athletic Club but presently they are nominated by the Principal as the Student Bodies Election has been canceled by the Government.
