Government Arts Science and Commerce College, Dharamjaigarh

 The college has an advisory committee for the library. The library advisory committee consists of the senior faculty as the chairman, coordinator, and three members from the teaching staff and the Librarians as members. The committee meets at regular intervals to decide on the purchase, infrastructural development, and improvement of the library. Use of multimedia resources in the library, renovation and modernization of reading rooms, and Networking facilities with SOUL software render the library user-friendly. Infrastructural Details: Total area of the library (in sq. Mts.) – 400 sq. The Mt. Reading room is available for students (Capacity) - 20 Seats. Layout of the library, Individual reading carrels: 04 sqft. Lounge area for browsing and relaxed reading: 10 sqft. IT zone for accessing e-resources: 200 sqft.

The College has provided Indoor and Outdoor Sports facilities to our students. Playground, Indoor games are available on the college campus, maintained by the Sports department. Students are provided opportunities to participate in various games and sports such as races, marathons, cross country races, table tennis, chess, kabaddi, volleyball, basketball, boxing, cricket, Badminton, football, basketball, badminton, netball, Kho kho, softball, judo, handball, etc.

The college has been allocated 50 volunteers in the National Service Scheme Balak Unit of the Govt. Arts, Science & Commerce College, Dharamjaigarh, Chhattisgarh, and 25 volunteers in the Girls Unit. College Program Officer Mr. S.B. Lakra, Mr. Dr. V K Sahu, and Prof. Ram Sai Binjhwar are the Principal Trained Program Officers. The rally, street plays, de-addiction oaths, combustion of alcohol and tobacco products, etc., were organized by the volunteers of the Rashtriya Seva Yojana for de-addiction programs.

The college has Projectors, Computers, CCTVs, Wi-Fi, and anti-virus software, etc., which are maintained by a responsible officer from the teaching staff. There is a technical officer for this purpose, under whom the non-teaching staff and the computer operator operate these items. If there is any mechanical or functional error in the above academic and support facilities, the HoD has to write an application to the Principal for their maintenance.
