Hostel has its own Library and it has more than 3000 books for the hostel boarders belonging to several departments. Most of the books are of General Science which is useful for each and every Hostel Boarders. Hostel Library is maintained and run by Library In-charge. He has to take care of books and the environment of the Library. More than three newspapers in English and Bengali are purchased every day. Few useful magazines are also subscribed annually like India Today, DIGIT, Science Reporter, Pratiyogita darpan etc. Every day a quote is written in the board hung in Library called QUOTE of the Day. Library In-charge enlists all the cultural activities at the start of the year and displays it in the Library room as the Cultural Calendar of the year. Hostel library remain open on each and every odd Sunday of the month for the requisition and issue of the books. Hostel Library is located at the central part of the Hostel having very neat, clean and favorable environment for study.
