Government College of Engineering, Kalahandi have boys hostels on the college campus. Currently, canteen services are provided on the college premises to students and faculty members. The existing canteen has a large open space nearby that can accommodate 50-60 people at a time. Snacks and tea/coffee are available throughout the day at reasonable rates that are adjusted according to demand. Meal and lunch box services are also available with a one- or two-day advance reservation.

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.
