Government College of Engineering Textile Technology, Serampore

The college offers a four-storey hostel facilities for boys. The GCETTS hostel has the required facilities for the comfort of the students. 

The Girls' hostel is under consideration and will be constructed soon. Depending on the number of available seats, hostel accommodations are offered. A hostel committee made up of the superintendent, staff members, and students control the hostel and its mess.

The Central Library has a collection of about 28,000 books. In addition to a substantial collection of reference materials and textbooks, the library has access to numerous databases and extensive backfiles covering numerous academic disciplines. Libsys-7 is in charge of maintaining the barcode-enabled, fully automated library bibliographical database.

The college has good infrastructure facilities. The GCETTS IT Lab is equipped with computers that have different applications installed on them as well as the equipment needed for the computer lab, giving students access to hands-on learning about computers.

The college offers department based laboratories to the students. The GCETTS laboratories include fibre science laboratory, spinning laboratory, fabric  manufacturing laboratory, CAD and numerical analysis laboratory and many more. 

The college provides wifi facilities for the students and staff. 

The GCETTS has gym facilities so that students can workout and improve their physical health.
