Government Degree College, Vailoo, Larnoo, Anantnag

The college has a Central Library of the Government. Degree College Vailoo Larnoo is currently housed in a pre-fab hut having inadequate space, but every effort has been made to equip the library with all the modern facilities required to supplement the academic requirements of the students, faculty, and staff.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. Canteens and cafeterias are one of the important parts of student life where you can find most of students chatting and gossiping on different topics. It plays a vital role in removing tensions and refreshing students. The college canteen is fairly new and provides enough and delicious food at affordable rates.

The college has First Aid is an important tool in quickly responding to accidents to ensure that injuries can be efficiently and promptly dealt with before a trained medical professional arrives to administer more specialised treatment The collge doesn't have a First Aid Centre, but First Aid Box is kept available in the sports department to meetout the excegiencies with all basic requirements. 

The college has a well-equipped Internet browsing centre. Which can be used by the students as well as by the staff for knowledge acquisition purposes by serving as an alternative to scarce and outdated books. There is a significant difference in the academic performance of students with Internet access and those without. The Students are allowed to access information through internet during the college hours in the Computer Centre. Students are allowed to browse 3 hours in a week, with a maximum duration of one hour per day. (however with prior permission, they can use for longer period).

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has an Eco-Club programme that was initiated in 2001-2002. The main objective was to impart knowledge to children through hands-on experience, about their immediate environment, interactions within it and the problems therein. The programme aims to inculcate proper attitude towards the environment and sensitize children on issues related to environment and development.

The college has an Extracurricular activities facility for all students.

The college has a Placement Cell of the college functions to provide guidance and assistance for the students to achieve their career goals and secure their careers. It provides awareness about higher studies, self-employment, and job opportunities. The cell provides skill-based support and guidance to the students so as to prepare them for getting placement in reputed firms. It also helps students to build self-confidence and prepare them to compete in current market situations/demands.
