Government Degree College Women, Pulwama

The college has a vast playground in which various sports activities are carried out under the supervision of a trained Physical Training Instructor. Sufficient sports infrastructure is available with the Physical Education Department for the students to take part in the sports activities in and outside the college.

The college provides a canteen facility to all the students and staff members of the institution. Different items like Tea, Biscuits, Cold Drinks,Butter Toasts,Boiled Eggs etc are served at concessional and reasonable rates. The performance of the canteen is monitored by the college canteen committee under the supervision of Mr.Tahir Hussain Naiko.

The College at present has got equipped with science laboratories where students perform their practical’s smoothly.

The college plans to provide transport facilities to the students on nominal fare charges.

The college facilitates students with library, housing almost 5200 books pertaining to diverse fields of knowledge. Recently the job of automation of library has been taken up and will be completed soon.

The college provides first aid fecility to the students during accedimic sessions

The college has a Girls hostel is being constructed in the college campus and will be functional within couple of years.

The college has well equipped Gym Centre/Health Fitness Centre where students take part in different types of physical exercises for to develop their physique and maintain their health. The Centre remains open for all students throughout the academic session.

The college has set up a separate I.T. center where the students get information from time to time regarding their examinations,datesheets, submission of admission/examination/re-evaluation forms, etc.

The college has a good network for the alumni association.

By providing an internet browsing center, colleges ensure that every student has equal access to educational materials, e-books, scholarly articles, research papers, and online databases. The college has a Smart Classroom facility for all students.

The college has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.
