The college has departmental-based laboratories facility for the students.

The building of the computer engineering program is located on the first floor Teaching and Lab work are carried out to help students overcome practical difficulties. All the computers are equipped with software tools.

Government engineering college Challakere has made a name for itself in sports and outdoors like Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Kabbadi, Throwball, and Volleyball, this institution supports and encourages the students to be involved in these sports.

The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
