Government First Grade College for Women, Ramangara

The college has a library facility a total of 11000 books are being borrowed by the students for their studies. The library also subscribes to newspapers, journals, and magazines that are being utilized by students to improve their knowledge. Question paper bank in the library has questions from previous years which are used by students to revise for their exams. The reading room in the library allows teachers and students to use the library for quiet study. 

The college has sports facilities for all students these sports activities are given high importance. Students are encouraged to participate in indoor and outdoor games during leisure and also after class hours. Facilities are available for indoor games like chess and caroms, and for outdoor games like volleyball, kho kho, ball badminton, shuttle badminton and throw a ball. 

The college has a good networking for the alumni association. Alumni meetings are held every year and the students give valuable suggestions about the college. The former faculty of the college visit the college whenever they are invited. The former Principal visited the college on Women’s Day. 

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a health center with a first-aid facility within the department of physical education and immediately after that hospitals are contacted in case of emergencies.

The college has a post office, and book shops facilities to the needs of students and staff.
