The college has a Library. Knowledge is a key element to success in intellectual literacy and critical thinking skills in this era of globalization. One should be well-equipped with knowledge and information to confront the unrestrained growth of intellectual competition. Knowledge and Information are the power to formulate a novel way to tackle competitive global demand. To increase the novel paradigm of knowledge and to produce the best breed of graduates, the college is extensively working on shaping all requirements for the students. The Central Library facility is a prime requirement for information and knowledge seekers. In view of knowledge and information augmentation and also to enhance the intensity of the light of knowledge, the College has designed the finest central library with a good learning environment for the students. The central library has a wide range of collections on science, humanities, social science, and literature, containing both text and reference books. At present library has over 1800 volumes. Students can have access to books and visit the reading room on all working days from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm with their library car,d which will be issued soon after their admission. The library is located on the ground floor of the college.

The college has Scientific laboratories are an indispensable part of the B.Sc course. Laboratories broaden the scientific vision of young minds and make them more inquisitive about our surroundings, and explore different fields of science.  As Gorubathan Government College offers both ‘honors’ and ‘general’ courses in Botany and Zoology, along with a ‘General ’ course in chemistry, there are separate laboratories with all the necessary facilities to carry out the practical classes. We are trying our best to provide a preliminary platform for tomorrow's budding scientists.

The College's objective of the canteen is to protect our students from food-borne diseases and adulterated food. With an increasing number of students, the college has started canteen facilities and has been functioning efficiently since April 2017. A variety of fresh and appetizing foods is in the offering at reasonable rates, which keeps the students healthy and pleased. Students can find a variety of dishes by ensuring food quality with no compromise on hygiene. Besides these, the spacious canteen may be useful as a hub for other activities of the students.

The college has the Eco Club of Gorubathan Government College is an initiative dedicated to promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices among students and the local community. This club organizes various activities such as tree plantation drives, clean-up campaigns, workshops on environmental issues, and educational trips to nature reserves. By fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment, the Eco Club aims to instill eco-friendly habits and encourage active participation in conservation efforts.
