Government Girls College, Chomu

The college library has a rich variety of subscriptions to various magazines like 'Competition Success Review' (Hindi and English), 'Pratiyogita Darpan', 'Competition Master', 'Civil Service Chronicle' (Hindi and English), 'G.K. Today' and 'Employment News' (Hindi and English), and all the major newspapers through which students come to know about forthcoming competitive exams, job profiles, qualifications required, and the last date for applying.

The college has a badminton court on the campus and grounds for the Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, and Athletics exterior of the campus. Indoor games, chess boards, carom boards, and TT tables are available for students. 

The college has a computer lab equipped with 15 computers all connected to the internet through LAN and a laser printer. All computers in the lab have licensed software – Windows07, MS Office, and Anti-Virus. 

The college has Nutritious and healthy food provided in the canteen. A special diet is made available to the students participating in games, sports, and programs organized by NSS units.
