At Government Institute of Textile Chemistry and Knitting Technology Ludhiana, various specialised labs equip students with hands-on training in knitting technology, including circular and flat knitting, socks, stockings, jacquard machines, warp knitting, cutting, tailoring, and yarn winding.

The computer centre at Government Institute of Textile Chemistry and Knitting Technology Ludhiana utilises a range of workstation-based systems running on Windows. It supports interconnection among systems, facilitating data exchange and providing students with industry-standard tools. The centre houses approximately 30 computers with 24/7 internet access, alongside scanners, plotters, digitizers, and colour printers.

The center of learning has been functioning to encourage self-learning and supplement academics, boosting research and development activities, and promoting consultancy activities. At present library is housed in a multistoried building situated amid all departments and is easily accessible to all. For the smooth functioning of the library, it has been divided into different sections, and readers have been allowed open access to the library holdings. The library at present has 3582 Books/Titles and 6190 Volumes.

The playgrounds for Cricket, kabbadi, volleyball, Table Tennis & 400m athletics track are present in the college.
